writing is how i understand my world. in the writing of a thought or an idea, a mere concept living inside of me becomes a realized and tangible idea. my writing – be it poetry, prose, or even my schoolwork – is the outworking of a deep emotion inside of me finding its way to reality.
they say that a picture is worth a thousand words, but i believe it is equally true that a thousand words can paint a picture in the soul that would never be visualized any other way.

life leaves words left out in the telling of our lives’ stories. my purpose in writing is to give expression to the emotions and feelings that are normally left to be deduced by reading between the lines of our lives.
